Description
Roggenbier, is a specialty beer originally produced in Bavaria with up to 60% rye malt. Our untraditional approach to the historic style showcases a malt bill of 50% Rye and 50% base malts with moderate amounts of smoke flavor. Fermented on Hefeweizen yeast at a warmer than normal temperature allows us to introduce hints of banana and clove on a tawny colored, “hearty” flavored ale.
